Our 2009 lineup is packed with great bluegrass talent. This year Steel Drivers, Jr Sisk and the Ramblers, the Next Best Thing, which includes Rhonda Vincent's daughter, appear at Graves Mountain for the fist time. Heather Berry and Tony will perform for the first time during our big festival, she had played at our Spring Fling Festival in previous years. Larry Cordle and Lonesome Standard Time, IIIrd Tyme Out with Russel Moore, and Lonesome River Band, all return after a short absence from Graves Mountain. Returning from last year's festival includes The Wells Family, Cherryholmes, The Navy's Bluegrass Band Country Current, Mark Templeton and Pocket Change, The James King Band, The Bluegrass Brothers, The Mark Newton Band, Carrie Hassler and Hard Rain, The Seldom Scene, Rhonda Vincent and The Rage. There will be a reunion of the Heights of Grass on Friday with Donny Grubb, Bill Lux, Vernon Hughes, Richard Ward, and special guest. On Saturday evening Carl Jackson and Mark Newton will host the Graves Mountain Jam featuring Rhonda Vincent, Hunter Berry, Carrie Hassler, Josh Miller, Mike Henderson, Tammy Rogers, Richard Bailey, Chris Stapleton, Dudley Connell, Ronnie Simpkins, Lou Reid, Fred Travers, Ben Eldridge and special guests. |
